Man I haven't updated this in too long. I guess I just got bored with the whole thing over Christmas break because I was bored in general and had nothing to talk about. Also I guess I wanted to put art here but I've barely made any in the last year. *lame* I always think about wanting to draw and then I just don't. Oh well, maybe I'll get off my ass and make some new things for Otakon, although I can hardly see taking much more table space from Diana than I need to store my stuff, and occasionally sit down.

I really need to do something about an SD carrying case, because it's all well and good for me to carry them in my arms to school but I dunno about Baltimore. Speaking of which I still have to change the credit card for the hotel...grr.

On the topic of dolls, I'm going to start posting some pics here I think. I really need a new digicam to enable better pictures of them, but until I get off my cheap and actually buy one, I suppose the pictures I've taken so far will do to entertain me today while I'm feeling inspired to update my website, haha. I'm also going to post short profiles for them, mainly detailing the doll type since I couln't really care less how old my dolls are or what country they're from. It's just not my thing.

Anyhow, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it. Now, off I go to do the aforementioned updates.

Whew, I can't believe how much it ended up snowing this weekend. That doesnt normally happen this time of year 'roud these parts.

Finally, I've reached the last week of the semester. Not like I've been counting down or anything, nooooo. Mainly I've been just watching anime and doing minimal work. My classes fail to keep me in fear of doing particularly poorly, and thus I can't help but slack. I love my new external hard drive. So much space for my anime to live in.

In particular, Popotan, UFO Princess Valkyrie, and Fullmetal Alchemist have cought my attention, but I've also watched a few other series of late. Maburaho is starting to get me interested after the first two episodes. Diana was right about Bottle Fairy though; I thought I'd fall for any show with cute fairies in it and a character that shares Miitan's seiyuu, but apparently even I have my limits.

I've been told that there has been some talk behind my back of late. Naughty, naughty. That is a nasty character flaw don't you know? After I was so nice!

Anyhow, eight classes, two exams, a paper, and a partridge in a pear tree and I'll be school free for a month, during which time I plan to enjoy my friends, boyfriend, and external hard drive in large quantities. Hopefully I will sew! And do other thigns of that sort that school sucks the life out of.

This morning I was very confused by my alarm and thus woke up rather early. It's alright, I had plenty of time to make myself a delicious omlet.

At any rate, this morning, like nearly every morning (unless they're all gone, or I'm running horribly late), I read the New York Times over breakfast. Generally, I only read the front section, as I have no interest in what sports team won yesterday and have never been much for Buisiness, and thus can get my fill of that through the summary page.

Not to get too side tracked, for those of you that have not seen the cover of this morning's Times, it featured a large color picture of the view coming out of the train station at the world trade center, which is apparently once again opperational. The story was of course, also included. Now its not like I have anything against this being in a paper that is after all, a New York paper, even though obviously people now read it across the country, and in many other parts of the world i would suppose.

But come on. The front page? Turn the page and you have yet another report of deaths in Iraq (listed in the summary I might add), including 2 soldiers that had their throats cut. Don't you think thats a bit more important than the motherfucking train station by the world trade center? And yet, New York being what it is, and knowing several New Yorkers myself, I am not surprised. So let me make a couple of assertions here:

1. New York is not the Center Of The Universe. I know it may come as a shock, but all those years ago when they proved that the earth rotates around the sun, and not the other way around, New York City (even if it didnt exist yet) was included.

2. If in fact, the aforestated conjecture is true, then one would have to include that September 11th was not, in fact, the end of the free world as we know it.

Trajedies have happened before, and yes, people have carried on about them. But seriously, when it comes to news that so many people in so many different places are reading, you'd think maybe, just maybe, even the Grand New York City could how should I say, get over themselves. But then again, maybe you're just tired of publishing pictures of funerals on the front page. I know I would be, but let's save that for another rant.

So, it turns out iBlog is crap for crap. What can you expect though really? At any rate, I've decided to just go ahead and have a more extensive personal website, that will hopefully soon surpass my first failed attempt, and of course, include my blog.

At any rate, none of the links work at the time of this update, but they will at least go somewhere shortly. When there will be content is another story, but hey, im working on it. I hope you enjoy my rocket ship design, and if you do you should go look at Diana's much cooler website here, because she made my stupid little photoshop picture into the beautiful website you see before you.
